NOTICE OF 22ND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear FWA Members,
I hereby give notice for this year’s Financial Women’s Association General Meeting which will be held physically on Thursday, 30 March 2023.
We seek your support to sign up to vote in our new executive committee team 2023. Our new Executive Committee slate will continue to strive to do their best of their abilities to empower Women to achieve their Personal and Professional Goals in order to develop a better Financial Services Community by promoting education, advancement, and recognition of women, encourage young female leaders of tomorrow to advance in finance through mentoring. Finally, to contribute to social and community development for the sustainable betterment of women.
As always, FWA had a very busy and fulfilling 2022 as we transitioned back into a new normal of physical events. Key highlights in 2022 included 7 monthly events and an annual year end party which engaged more than 550 participants; 2 corporate membership events of which we had 55 corporate members YE 2022. Following COVID, FWA Singapore sought to understand the work life balance amongst women in finance to support equitable growth.
Our strategic engagements pillar ran 5 breakfast sessions with champions engaging 25 champions on diversity and inclusion and WEimpact held 2 dynamic huddle sessions engaging +100 participants.
Our cornerstone mentoring program received an overwhelming signup which ended with a final selection of 49 mentees (30%) out of the total applications with participation from 33 financial institutions and other related organisations.
It was a year of great achievement as we transitioned back into a new normal of physical events. On social media, we have continued to grow with over 3.4k followers at YE 2022.
The new Exco slate to be presented at the AGM looks forward to sharing more exciting plans with you on the year ahead.
Please note this event is open to members only and is free of charge. We invite all FWA members to attend the AGM. Registration will be required, and details are below.

Please note the AGM is open to members only. All attendees will be asked to identify themselves. Any attendee that does not properly identify herself or himself will not be allowed entry into the AGM.
A light lunch will be provided.

If you are an Ordinary or Associate Member who wishes to attend the AGM, please register for the AGM by clicking this link, latest by 5pm, Tuesday 28 March 2023.
If you are an Ordinary Member who is unable to attend the AGM, but nonetheless would like to send a proxy to attend and vote on your behalf, please complete this Ordinary Members' Proxy Form (Form 1), and email it to contact@fwasg.org, latest by 5pm, Tuesday 28 March 2023.
Instructions for Corporate Members
If any Corporate Member wishes to attend into the AGM, please register for the AGM by completing this Corporate Member Voting Form (Form 2), and emailing it to contact@fwasg.org, latest by 5pm, Tuesday 28 March 2023.
If any Corporate Member cannot make the AGM but nonetheless would like to vote, please fill in, sign and scan the Corporate Members' Proxy form (Form 3), and email it to contact@fwasg.org, latest by 5pm, Tuesday 28 March 2023.

- To receive and adopt the annual report of the Committee.
- To receive and adopt the accounts for the period ended 31 December 2022.
- To retire the Committee for 2022-2023.
- To elect office bearers and auditors for 2023-2024.

- To consider, approve and adopt the FWA Budget for 2023.
- To consider and approve the appointment of the newly elected President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and/or Assistant Treasurer as authorised signatories for any bank account maintained by the FWA with any bank, with any two authorised signatories acting jointly to provide all necessary instructions to said bank.
