 Jacqueline Chua

Jacqueline is a wealth management professional in a top private bank who has more 25 years experience spanning across a wide variety of business divisions from private banking, asset management, consumer banking and business banking.  She has hands-on experience in sales, people management and talent development.  She is passionate about mentoring and coaching different profiles in the finance industry by participating actively in Financial Women’s Association for the last 16 years and currently serves on the executive committee board.

 

Amy Zhao

Amy oversees LP, GP and China relations at Openspace Ventures (formerly NSI Ventures), a Singapore-headquartered VC focused on Series A and B investments in Southeast Asia-based technology companies. She is responsible for fundraising as well as managing relations with Chinese venture capitalists and strategic investors like Xiaomi, Baidu, Tencent and Alibaba. Openspace currently manages 2 funds with a total committed capital of US$225M. Selected Openspace investments include Go-Jek, Chope, Love Bonito, CXA, HaloDoc and Pathao. 

Prior to joining Openspace, Amy was part of the Investor Relations team at Dymon Asia Capital, Singaporean investment manager with US$6 billion of assets under management across hedge fund, private equity and venture capital strategies.

Amy started her career with Cambridge Associates, a US-headquartered investment consulting company providing investment advisory and research services to institutional investors. Based in the Singapore office, she covered the Asian private equity, venture capital, real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Amy holds a BBA Accounting Honors degree from the National University of Singapore and also studied in University of Mannheim, Germany. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). 

She is an active Muay Thai practitioner and grew up in Hangzhou, China.

 

Grishma Kewada

Grishma is the Head of Financial Risks at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. She started her career in Investment Banking on a proprietary trading desk at J.P. Morgan after which she was involved in quantitative model risk valuation at Credit Suisse. With a background in Actuarial Science, Grishma made the inevitable move into Insurance at Allianz Insurance Management. She has spent years in risk management in Singapore, China and Thailand.   

She is passionate about helping and developing younger women in the industry, including advocating for social impact causes. She has been part of the Financial Women’s Association for almost 10 years and currently serves on the executive committee.

Grishma is a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst  (CERA) from the Society of Actuaries and Professional Risk Manager (PRM) from PRMIA and holds a Bachelors in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Cape Town. 

 

Fiona Yik

Fiona Yik is currently a Senior Relationship Manager for Corporates at Westpac Banking Corporation. She has been in the Corporate Banking sector for 18 years, with experience in Transaction Banking as well as Relationship Management, across Singapore and China.

Fiona is an INSEAD MBA Alum (D08) and also holds a BA (Hons) degree from Oxford University.

She is married with two children.

 

Cheam Shou Sen

Shou Sen is an investment banking professional with 20+ years experience from front to middle in the financial industry.   She has worked in a range of institutions, from merchant banks like Morgan Grenfell Asia to large global investment banks such as Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, and her international assignments included stints in New York, Hong Kong and now, Singapore.  Shou Sen is currently a Business Manager for the Asia Pacific Banking division of Barclays Bank.  Her role includes working with senior management on strategy decisions, team management and infrastructure platform development.  She is an advocate of encouraging more women in finance.  She was a Co-Chair of the Women's Internal Network at Barclays Singapore from 2016-2018, currently is an ExCo member at the Financial Women's Association of Singapore, a Board Director at Aidha, a non-profit organisation with provides financial literacy courses to foreign domestic workers, and an active member with the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations.  She is a graduate of Wellesley College and obtained an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management

 

Moderated by Vrutika Mody

Vrutika Mody is currently completing her MBA at INSEAD (#1 ranked Global Business School, FT 3 year avg). Her role prior to INSEAD was at the Tata Group, one of India's largest conglomerates, within the Chairman's office. She led business development and commercial partnerships with entities in China and South East Asia and focused on the retail and digital sector. She has also held a variety of corporate strategy and business operations roles at Goldman Sachs in New York and British Petroleum (BP) in Singapore. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Mandarin Chinese from Middlebury College.
