The FWA Women Empowered Impact (WEimpact) pillar, in collaboration with Moody’s, is pleased to host a Dynamic Huddle panel to discuss the strength of human resilience in the face of personal and global crisis and provide practical strategies to adapt and thrive in challenging circumstances. Our collective struggles have shaped who we are today and we continue to emerge stronger from adversities.
The COVID pandemic has created a paradigm shift in the manner we approach mental health and wellness. The ability to manage stressful circumstances developing so rapidly in our lives and communities also determines how we effectively bounce back into recovery. Adversity may take various forms such as personal setbacks, caretaker responsibilities, professional obstacles or unseen circumstances beyond our control. Resilience by definition is the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional and behavioural flexibility and adjustment to external and internal demands. Research shares the scientific basis to strengthen resilience for the health and well-being of the community.
In this session, join us to hear from our speakers on their personal experiences and expert advice on how we can be more nimble and grow from challenging situations.
