The new Executive Committee slate st anding for election remains committed to FWA’s mission of empowering wom en in finance through education\, advancement and mentoring future leaders \, while contributing to social and community development for the sustaina ble betterment of women. 2025 was a meaningful and active year for FWA. Ov er the course of the year\, we organised 14 events\, bringing together our community through networking sessions\, fireside chats and thematic discu ssions spanning topics from finance and AI to perimenopause. We also held our first WE Impact walking event in celebration of SG60\, reflecting our commitment to wellness. Our flagship International Women’s Day event wel comed members to hear leaders share perspectives on accelerating action fo r gender equality. Our biennial Symposium\, “Thriving Together Across Ge nder\, Generations & Technology\,” drew over 200 attendees\, with our FW A Champions leading engaging discussions on intersectionality\, intergener ational dynamics and navigating a rapidly evolving technological landscape . Mentoring remains the heartbeat of FWA. In 2025\, we matched 32 mentees with 31 mentors and hosted our first Mentoring Appreciation Night to recog nise the generosity and dedication of mentors who continue to invest their time in developing the next generation of leaders. Our community continue s to grow and thrive. FWA now comprises 52 corporate members and 284 Ordin ary and Associate members\, supported by a vibrant volunteer network. Our LinkedIn community has grown to over 6\,000 followers\, and we have begun revamping our CMS system to further enhance event communications and membe rship management\, with completion expected in 2026.
