The global appare l and footwear industries account for 8% of the world's greenhouse gas emi ssions\, almost as much as the total climate impact of the European Union[ 1]. Climate change has become a daily reality for millions of people and i ncreasing sustainability scrutiny calls for business transformation and ad aptation. We have seen a rise in fashion re-commerce\, such as clothes swa pping but is this enough? It is critical for all players in the supply cha in\, from manufacturers to retailers\, financiers and last but not least\, consumers\, to take responsibility for their choices.
