About CFS Founded in 2008\, The Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) aims to encourage and enable philanthropy in Singapore and is a regi stered charity with the Institution of Public Character status. Since then \, CFS has set up 143 donor advised funds\, raised $169 million in donatio ns and given out some $90 million in grants\, with a matching of donors’ interests with causes and offer ways for them to make a greater impact th rough their charitable funds. With a deep understanding of local issues an d evolving needs\, CFS identifies gaps and opportunities in the community to foster more effective giving and has engaged with over 400 charity part ners to identify programmes that impact diverse communities.
