D espite the emergence of “non-binary” thinking about gender\, gender no rms are not just going to disappear. Some research points to the conceptio n that women are less confident than their male peers in their abilities a s a leader\, yet on the other hand\, recent research shows no evidence of a female modesty effect. In achievement-orientated domains\, women rate th emselves no lower than their male counterparts in leadership-related dimen sions. The complexity of gender and confidence presents a myriad of parado xes. To address this question\, and to examine the fundamental reasons and potential solutions to level of confidence\, we have invited ECC to share their views on this topic.
