Desp ite the emergence of “non-binary” thinking about gender\, gender norms are not just going to disappear. Some research points to the conception t hat women are less confident than their male peers in their abilities as a leader\, yet on the other hand\, recent research shows no evidence of a f emale modesty effect. In achievement-orientated domains\, women rate thems elves no lower than their male counterparts in leadership-related dimensio ns. The complexity of gender and confidence presents a myriad of paradoxes . To address this question\, and to examine the fundamental reasons and po tential solutions to level of confidence\, we have invited ECC to share th eir views on this topic.
