Between 2002 and 2004\, she was Deputy Speak er of Parliament and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee. Prior to j oining the Singapore Cabinet\, Lim Hwee Hua enjoyed a varied career in fin ancial services. At Temasek Holdings (2000 – 2004)\, she served as Manag ing Director where she oversaw divestments\, restructured companies and bo ards\, established strategic relations with key foreign counterparts and s at on boards including PSA\, Keppel and Mapletree. Lim Hwee Hua graduated with a Master of Arts (Honours) in Mathematics/Engineering from the Univer sity of Cambridge in 1981.
