Under the gaze of the public eye since she clinched the “Best Female Athlete” at the inaugural ASEAN Para Games i n 2001\, she has since gone from milestone to milestone in her swimming ca reer\, clinching five gold medals and setting two Games Records -She wheel ed her way to swimming. Theresa will share her life journey\, lessons from overcoming hurdles in life and how to come up on top! Theresa Goh is a Pa ralympic Swimmer from Singapore. She has been representing her country in various international competitions for the past 18 years. Theresa was the first female Singaporean swimmer to qualify for the Paralympics in 2004. A former world record holder in the 50m and 200m Breaststroke SB4 category\ , she recently clinched a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke SB4 catego ry\, at the Rio Paralympics on her 4th Paralympic Games outing. She was on e of the ambassadors of Pink Dot 2017 and is trying to speak up more for L GBTQ rights especially in Singapore.
