Sandhya is a global business leader with a track record of delivering growth, profitability and key innovations in difficult business environments. In her current role, as MD & Head of Retail Products for SCB Singapore, she manages one of the largest businesses for the bank globally. Prior stints include senior roles in SCB as well as Citibank in NYC, Philippines and India. Sandhya represents SCB on regulatory forums on inter-bank payments, credit cards policy and on the NETs payments council. She also serves on the board of the SingPost Advisory Council for eCommerce in Asia Pacific. Sandhya was recently awarded the Promising Young Banker in the Asia Pacific by The Asian Banker in 2014. 

A passionate advocate of women’s leadership and empowerment, Sandhya is the co-chair of the Women’s Council. She led the SCB initiative in partnership with UN Women & MasterCard to launch the STEM program in Singapore which impacted 3,000 young girls in 2014 for careers in Science, Tech, Engineering & Math. She is also active in FWA Singapore's Exco. 
Sandhya has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. She is married and has a seven year old boy.

About Up Close & Personal Leadership Talk: 

This talk brings senior women leaders together with FWA members in an intimate setting that encourages interaction, conversations and sharing of insights. The discussion will centre around the featured speaker’s personal journey, from managing their personal and work lives, to taking on leadership roles and challenging responsibilities, and more significantly, to making a difference in their families, their organisations and beyond.  

Key issues such as work-life integration, gender stereotypes and cultural differences will be tackled in this breakfast session, which promises to leave members energised, empowered and ultimately, inspired!
