Karen Bell
Managing Director

Regional Head of Group Technology & Operations Asia Pacific

In her career at Deutsche Bank, Ms Bell has worked across a number of areas including the Business, Technology and Operations with her focus being primarily on driving change in infrastructure. During this time, she has worked for the Bank in Singapore, the United Kingdom and Australia.  

Before joining Deutsche Bank, Ms Bell was with KPMG for five and half years in their Banking and Finance Division, including six months in their International Headquarters in Amsterdam. Prior to KPMG, Ms Bell spent two years at Security Pacific Australia.

Ms Bell has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of New South Wales and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Securities Institute of Australia. She has also been involved in numerous industry groups around the world to promote efficiencies in financial markets.

Ms Bell is a Young Global Leader (a group sponsored by the World Economic Forum) and is actively involved in an education-based charity in Cambodia.

About Up Close & Personal Leadership Talk: 

This talk brings C-suite personalities together with FWA members in an intimate setting that encourages interaction, conversations and sharing of insights. The discussions will centre around the featured speaker’s personal journey, from managing their personal and work lives, to taking on leadership roles and challenging responsibilities, and more significantly, to making a difference in their families, their organisations and beyond.  

Key issues such as family-work integration, gender stereotypes and cultural differences will also be tackled in this breakfast session, which promises to leave members energised, empowered and ultimately, inspired!
