Edmund Siah
Keynote Speaker
Speaker Profile: Mr. Ed Siah is a Partner in the Singapore Office of Executive Search Firm Egon Zehnder and leads the Financial Services Practice for Asia Pacific.
Ed started his career with Standard Chartered Bank in Corporate and Institutional Banking, moving on to Deutsche Bank as a Senior Account Manager in Corporate Banking focused on large local corporates in SE Asia. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ed was Managing Director with ISR, a global organisational effectiveness consulting firm where he was responsible for managing and growing the business in Asia Pacific and Middle East. He spent 4 years at BCG as a Strategy Consultant/Project Leader focused on financial services practice in SE Asia and was also Managing Director for netdecisions Asia, a UK technology consulting firm.
Ed has an MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
Anubhuti Gupta
Asset Management
Speaker Profile: Ms. Anubhuti Gupta, CFA, CIPM, CAIA is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for Pan Asia, AXA Rosenberg, AXA Investment Managers. She oversees the investment activities for Asia and Japan. She is responsible for managing the Asia All country and Global Emerging Markets Large and Small Cap strategies and is actively involved in alpha and portfolio construction research.
Ms. Gupta obtained a BEng with First Class Honors from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and an MSc in Financial Engineering from the NTU Graduate School of Business with a certificate in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business. She is a holder of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) designations. She has served on the Executive Committee for Financial Women’s Association of Singapore and continues to be a member of the association.
Anju Patwardhan
Innovation in Banking
Speaker Profile: Anju Patwardhan is Group Chief Innovation Officer for Standard Chartered Bank. She leads the Bank’s strategic innovation agenda and is responsible for driving a strategic and sustainable approach on the use of emerging technologies and data science solutions.
Anju is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Standard Chartered Bank Thailand and the credit risk voting member on the approval committee for retail portfolios globally. She is a member of Standard Chartered’s Global Technology and Operations Management Group and the global Executive Leadership Team.
Anju is a Distinguished Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance and a Fellow of the Singapore Management University. She received a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and earned a Post-Graduate Degree in Business Management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
Jan Richards
Wealth Management
Speaker Profile: Jan Richards is a Group Head with Deutsche Bank AWM, responsible for managing a team of client advisors covering Southeast Asia. She has worked in the financial industry for 29 years including 18 years with JPMorgan Chase in New York, Singapore, Jakarta and Geneva, and 10 years as a US banking regulator.
Ms. Richards has lived in Asia for 13 years. She moved to Asia during the Asian financial crisis with a credit background, and spent several years negotiating debt restructurings with large Indonesian conglomerates. She moved to Jakarta in 2001 as Branch Manager and Credit officer for JPMorgan, Jakarta.
Ms. Richards graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Finance degree in 1984 and earned her CFA charter in 1994. She has been a CFA Singapore Board member since 2009 and is currently Deputy President and Chair of the Membership Committee.
Mabel Ha
Compliance & Risk Management
Speaker Profile: Mabel Ha has been Deutsche Bank’s Asia Pacific Head of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) since 2010, covering 16 locations, with regional responsibilities extended to Anti -Financial Crime in 2014, incorporating AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Anti-Fraud. She concurrently discharges global responsibilities as AML Business Partner for Deutsche Bank’s Asset & Wealth Management division.
Since the commencement of her Compliance career in 1998, Mabel has been appointed to increasingly senior Compliance roles in Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and UBS across Hong Kong and Singapore.
After graduation from the National University of Singapore Law School, she was a Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel attached to the Commercial Affairs Department in Singapore that investigates white-collar crime. She is qualified to practise law in Singapore, England & Wales; and additionally earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
Sharon Sng

Investment Banking
Speaker Profile: Ms. Sharon Sng is Senior Vice President for Regional Investments at CapitaLand Limited, where she is responsible for leading mergers & acquisitions at the Group level and Regional Investments, including Vietnam, StorHub, Surbana and development of new markets, such as Indonesia.
Ms. Sng was actively involved in the privatization of CMA by CapitaLand in 2014 and currently represents CapitaLand’s interests as a director at Surbana International Consultants Holdings Pte. Ltd. She also sits on the Boards of other Group subsidiaries.
Ms. Sng graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Accounting & Finance) Second Upper Class Honours from The London School of Economics & Political Science and holds the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute of the United States.
Annalisa Burgos
Event Moderator
Speaker Profile: Ms. Annalisa Burgos is Presenter and Senior Producer for First Look Asia. She interviews global personalities, and hosts and produces a weekly food series called "What's Cooking." Annalisa joined the channel in November 2013, bringing more than 15 years of experience as an award-winning journalist in New York City, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles.
As a reporter, editor and on-camera personality, Annalisa has covered everything from Wall Street to crime to real estate for major media companies, including HGTV, Food Network, Forbes, CNBC and Bloomberg.
Annalisa holds Bachelor's Degrees in Communications and English from UCLA and a Master's Degree in Broadcasting from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Annalisa's passions include travel, food, real estate, karaoke, and doing Mister Maker crafts with her children.
