Launch of Y-FWAM 2014 - FWA's award winning mentoring program
FWA is delighted to launch its 2014 award winning mentoring program for women, Young Female Working Adults Mentoring (Y-FWAM). Winner of the AWARE New Initiatives 2013 award, Y-FWAM promises to be bigger and better than ever this year.
We are expanding the program based on the feedback and suggestions made by our alumni mentors and mentees.
Y-FWAM 2014 highlights
• It will be extended to 6 months - from April through November, which will allow mentees to better measure their progress and implement changes
• We are expanding the size of the program. There are 20 mentor and 20 mentees slots available and we are looking for a broad and diverse range of people from all areas in financial services to join us
• The number of skills development sessions for Mentees will be expanded
• The number of touch-points for Mentors has been increased and they will be fully supported throughout the program
• We have increased the opportunities for both Mentors and Mentees to come together to network and to get to know FWA’s Executive Committee and other senior members.
